Project observations will be entered using the<a href=\"https:\/\/inaturalist.ala.org.au\/projects\/auspollen-grass-gazers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> <strong>iNaturalist<\/strong> <\/a>platform and will automatically be contributing to\u00a0the\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/ala.org.au\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Atlas of Living Australia\u00a0<\/a><\/strong>and the\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/gbif.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Global Biodiversity Information Facility<\/a>.<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0iNaturalist Australia\u00a0is the product of a membership agreement between the iNaturalist Network and the Atlas of Living Australia and CSIRO.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">An initial scoping study was conducted in partnership with Corinda State High School students during term 2 of 2020. To read more about the study and its outcomes please see <a href=\"https:\/\/www.authorea.com\/doi\/full\/10.22541\/au.159355916.63436191\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Grass Gazers: Using citizen science as a tool to facilitate practical and online science learning for secondary school students during the COVID\u201019 lockdown<\/strong><\/a>. <span><strong><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span>This project is led by the <a href=\"https:\/\/research.qut.edu.au\/arg\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>QUT Allergy Research Group<\/strong><\/a> and supported by project partners <a href=\"https:\/\/corindashs.eq.edu.au\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Corinda State High School<\/strong><\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.qld.gov.au\/environment\/plants-animals\/plants\/herbarium\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Queensland Herbarium<\/strong><\/a>. The project is is proudly supported by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chiefscientist.qld.gov.au\/science-comms\/citizen-science-grants\/about\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Queensland Government &#8211; Queensland Citizen Science Grants<\/strong><\/a> and the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.qut.edu.au\/institute-for-future-environments\/research\/centre-for-the-environment\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">QUT Centre for the Environment<\/a><\/strong>.<br \/> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span>There are four stages to this project. Training materials are being revised in the design Phase 1 and will be available before the project opens to the community for data collection in Phase 2.
